Coffee Embassy is a roasting business setup by long time mates Andy Norman & David Pai, with a background in roasting, cafe ownership and a mutual love of coffee.
Located somewhat inconspicuously at the intersection of Lichfield St & Fitzgerald avenue Coffee Embassy is an old mechanic’s workshop transformed into a cool little espresso bar and wholesale roastery, with a fit out of galvanised steel and polished-ply furniture, complemented with white painted brick walls and industrial-style lighting.
At the heart of what we do is connecting our customers to what we love about coffee variety, seasonality and experimentation. We continuously mix things up with our roasting style and blend components. The espresso bar and roastery is home to some of the finest coffee beans in Christchurch and some quirky industry innovations, like nitro coffee on tap and barrel aged cold brew.
